Send to Clare

Show release.

The short version: send Clare your room, and she can redesign it on camera — in her videos today, and on TV if the show gets there. Here’s exactly what you’re saying yes to.

What you're agreeing to

When you send your room to Clare, you give Elsewhere LLC and Clare Sullivan (and any company she works through) permission to use what you send — your room design, its pictures, the photos of your real room, your @ and your note — and the makeover made from it (together, “your room”).

Where it can appear

Anywhere Clare’s work goes: videos, posts, livestreams, podcasts, TV and streaming shows, books, ads and promotion for any of them, and on elsewhere itself — in any format, including ones not invented yet, anywhere in the world, with no time limit.

Editing, and partners

Your room can be edited, cropped, captioned, combined with other material and, of course, redesigned. We’ll never set out to show your home in a false or demeaning way.

We may pass this permission on to the production companies, networks, platforms and distributors we work with, so that a show made with your room can actually be made, aired and sold.

No fee, no guarantee

You won’t be paid for this, and you don’t get approval over the final cut. Sending a room doesn’t mean it will be featured: Clare chooses which rooms she works on.

What you promise

You’re 18 or older. You live in the room or have the right to share it, and you took the photos or have the right to share them.

Your photos don’t show other people — especially children — or anything that gives away where you live (house numbers, mail, the view from a window you’d mind people recognising). If someone else is in a photo, you have their OK.

Your name

We’ll credit you by the @ you give us, unless you ask us not to. We never publish your email or your address.

Changing your mind

Until Clare starts on your room, you can take it back: email hi@use-elsewhere.com and we’ll delete what you sent. Once she has started, this permission can’t be withdrawn — shows and videos take months to make and can’t be unmade. If something in a published video worries you (a detail that gives away your home, say), email us and we’ll look at it quickly.

The rest

This release is part of our terms of use and is governed by Connecticut law. How we look after what you send is in the privacy policy.
